Q.
Hi Sir/Mam My baby is getting lower canine teeth at 3 months old and she is getting fever from last 3 days and today she got loose motion also ,pls suggest me is it due to teething problem or should I see a doctor ? As for fever till now I was giving paracetamol drops but now I am worried of her pls suggest me some medicine for teething.

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 3 months old now due to teething baby puts fingers and toys inside mouth which cause loose motions so give gentle massage to gums and give a pacifier or artificial teat to chew

Yes these all are the symptoms of teething. If baby is temperature is more than 99° then you should give paracetamol drops. But always check the temperature before giving medicine. Still baby doesn’t get relief in next 24 hours then you should definitely consult this with your Paediatrician
