hi sir/madam my baby boy 3 years 4 months old he has cough and flu, for cough I gave him ascril syrup, is it work for flu? or can i give him which syrup for flu?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. no this is not for Flu vcold and cough most of the times because of viral infection sometimes even allergies please give steam inhalation frequently to liquefied the secretions and saline nasal drops in nose of the baby

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent, ascoril is a syrup that helps in breaking down the congestion from the chest. So if it is prescribed by the doctor then you can give otherwise you should consult with your paediatric once before giving. Good luck and take care
