you can also put dry fruits and ghee and nuts and it's powder in the food, which will increase the weight of the child. take your children out to play because when there is good physical activity then only the child will have increased appetite. make child take fruit and itsd juice because it also increases natural appetite.
also it is important to note that wait gain as well as the overall growth of the child depends majorly on the genetics that is how were the parents had growth when they were at the dsame age as the child.

starchy food items like boiled potatoes, sweet potato, rice are best option
give fresh fruits like apple, banana, papaya, avacado, dates etc
give full cream milk with dry fruits powder
