Q.

hi..plz I wanted to know. diet chart for 16 months old baby boy weight is 7.5 kg... and what is the quantity of nuts and non veg food per day... I am confused

A. hi....Start the day with breastmilk or formula milk. Followed by breakfast which can include various kinds of porridge, poha, scrambled eggs, steamed dosa , idli, appe, etc. Followed by mid morning drink like coconut water, turmeric milk, dry fruits powder in milk etc In lunch u can include egg rice, dal khichdi, spinach khichdi, tomato rice, beetroot rice, onion rice etc. In afternoon snacks u may include vegetable soup, pumpkin soup, chicken soup, baked carrot sticks, potato bites etc. In dinner u can include mixed vegetables khichdi, dalia, boiled pasta, chickpea pancakes, paneer cubes and rice. Yes you can add but soak it overnight and give only one at a time. Try all dry fruits separately first then a pinch of it if she is able to digest. Note- actually you are suppose to start dry fruits after 10+ months.
