Q.

Hi, Need info. My daughter is 3yrs 10 months old she got cavity in her teeth. Consulted dentist they are suggesting for filling. My doubt are : 1. Really filling is required since they are milk teeths. 2. Does filling have negative influence for the natural growth of teeth. Thanks in Advance.

A. Dear parent, cavity must be treated in teeth whether it is milk or permanent. Fillings are a very commonly done in milk teeth even in children younger than 3 years. And fillings do not affect the growth and development of jaws or teeth.

Ma’am to understand this if you do not fill the cavity it is going to reach the gums and then you will be advised to get a root canal done ask your doctor if there is an option of removing the teeth I think that would be a better option for you because if you remove it there is no problem New will come when it has to come so the only options are either you get the feeling done and get the teeth removed whatever is better option as per your
