Q.

hi my son who is 2 months 5 days old not latching for breastfeeding so am using manual pump to feed him whether it is fine to do like that and am not sure why he is not latching kindly let me know what I should do to get him latch for BF. thanks

A. check for any inverted nipple If required consult lactation expert feed expressed milk nwith spoon don't use nipple as it causes nipple confusion maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygeine

A. Hi mom keep the baby head a bit elevated and put whole of the nipple and most of areola in babies mouth so that baby latches easily. If nipples are inverted or flat due to which baby is not able to suck then u can use nipple shield to feed ur baby.. u can buy babyhug nipple shield.
