hi my son no eating what can I do what is the problem he suffer fevertwo days but today ok he is well but he didn't taken food pls help me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever .
Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks .
Initially antipyretic like paracetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repeated after 4-6 hrs if needed .
Lukewarm sponge bath can be given as home remedy tho decrease fever.
Adequate fluid intake is also beneficial.
Urine outvput monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

This is basically the side effects of the medicine that the child has during any kind of a problem so this is no appetite as per that go ahead with starting any multivitamin liquid and focus on giving more of liquid Best diet to the child which is going to provide strength and energy into the body like you can go ahead with giving coconut water juices soups all these things are going to be quite helpful right now because when there will be proper energy in the body slowly I will see the appetite of the child is going to be much betterWrite Your Answer Here
