Q.

Hi, my son is active and healthy. But he is not gaining weight. He's around 8.5kgs now. He gained only 500gms in 4-5 months. But he eats properly and also have good sleep. Where am I going wrong, why he is not gaining weight? Please give me suggestions, I'm feeling depressed

A. Long, short, thin, or chubby — babies come in all shapes and sizes. While society may send a message that your lil' nugget has to have rolls of baby fat to be healthy, this isn't really true. As long as they're meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don't need to worry.
