Hi, My son is 9month old. He is having cold. I am giving saline drops and cleaning the mucus aswell. I am giving indirect steam also. It is not controlling. Can I give otrivin drops once a day?

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. This must be Vira infection or allergy induced illnes. You must sooth kid's throat with Luke warm water,honey.add ginger, tulsi leaves in food. May give Alex junior syrup. In case heavy cough that impairs kid's sleep and play please consult physically.

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear mom...always give prescribed medication....use Babyhug rapid cold relief rub for quick relief . apply warm mustard oil on your baby's chest back and foot to make this oil heat the oil with crushed garlic ajwain and methi daana. strain and apply warm to baby before bed time
