Q.
Hi.. My son is 50 days old ..He has been vaccinated yestrdy afternoon ...now he is suffering from.high fever...we hav been giving him paracetamol thrice upto now ...what more should be done fr temperature to get normal???

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. in case of fever you can give paracetamol which can be repeated in every 6 hours and in between if there is any raised temperature you can do cold sponging also. to reduce the temperature paracetamol has to be given 15 mg per kg body wjueight.

Dotn worry If there is fever give paracetamol as prescribed by your doctor. see that if there is a pain and little swelling, give a hot compress to baby. Soak a cotton cloth in hot water squeeze it and gently press on injected area. Just give paracetamol as said by your doctor
