hi, My son is 20months old ( weight 10.5kg) he is not swallowing the food and he keeps the food inside the mouth for long time and then throws up or else he doesnt open his mouth. i have tried spoon feeding as well as providing finger food so he can eat independently but after 2 3 bites he doesnt eat food. He will remain hungry but not eat food and then he cries and i have give him milk only. i have tried to eat with him also but that doesn't help. can someone please help me ,what can i do to make him eat the food .

this can occur either due to loss of appetite as well as nutritional deficiency.
this can also occur due to tv mobile or screen time excess.
sometimes it is a part of habit in which the child does not like to chew solid food but can gulp down liquid to semisolid food.
it may also be associated when the child is not having any hunger but the parents want to feed the child.
please create interest by making different healthy recipes from food and eat along with the child.
use different colourful fruits vegetables and plates and spoons to create interest in the eyes of the child.
avoid tv mobile during family dinnerx or lunch or breakfast time.
involve the child in the food making process to create an interest.
inculcate healthy habits of eating food by practicing the same thing whxen you eat the food.
