Hi my son is 2 years 7 months old. He has dandruff problem but the scalp is not dry as such. Is there a dandruff shampoo that I can use for him. Please advise

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Dandruff is mostly because of dead skin over the scalp which can lead to itchy skin . It could be because of some pathological conditions too. Common causes are improper shampooing malnutrition fungal growth sensitivity to hair productsseer sebborrhoic dermatitis . Proper care is required with medicated shampoo maintain a good hygiene and proper hydration . Consult a doctor for more severe condition .
