A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make thec child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the specech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. I Can only tell you if your child is understanding everything that you are telling your child that means there is no issue and this is not speech delay it is just that your child is taking time to pick it up but still if you want you can always take a guidance from speech therapist like you were saying
