Q.

Hi my son is 2.9 years he got a fever frm midnight so I given him crocine syrup 8ml, again in the morning around 11am given him crocine syrup nd I applied Vicks vapour allover the body. still his temp not reducing oly

A. give Ibugesic for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperatuure in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation
