Hi, My son is 12 weeks old, now he is 6.5 kg weight. is it normal weight? can you please advice

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear parent, weight of 6.5 kg is a good weight for 12 weeks old baby, do not worry. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier.

Thanks for the response for my query but he is close to 3 months only and his birth weight is 3.15 kg and with in 3 months he has gained double of birth weight.
As you said baby will gain double of birth weight in 6 months or earlier, i think this is too earlier(3 months).
Is it fine to gain weight for health baby
