Q.

hi ,my son is 10 months old and having fever from last night. afternoon I measured it was 101. I gave him pcm more then half of spoon. but still his body is little warm then usually. Can you suggest me something regarding diet , medicine or something else?

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the tempernature down .
