hi my son 1year 3months last week he got fever and now he is alright but in night he wasn't sleep at all crying whole midnight

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation byry the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

It's type of pyhsiological and no any serious issue . Just mother feed and burping well after the feed will help also gastica drop can be used for relief .
