Q.

hi my son 1month and 4days old I am feeding him formula milk and expressed breast milk every 2hrs with 60ml or 70ml intake , should i increase the level ? everyday one or two times he pass stools but atleast one time his stools will be so hard and tight is that normal or should I take him to doctor? please help

A. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child. it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age. if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the causey. but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have5 to change the brand of6 formula milk. also do not give any food to the child except milk at this age.

A. Hello dear parent! Try increasing the number of feeds to maintain hydration. Consult your doctor for further evaluation and advice. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy
