hi, My pediatrician has prescribed a weekly 60000 IU Vitamin D dose for 1 month. she has symptoms of Vitamin D deficiency like Not sitting and not rolling but blood test is not done. Is it fine to give such a high dose?

A. dear mom. i will advice you to get your baby's investigation done for vit d levels in her blood. if that will come low then you may give her this much of vit d supplement as instructed...

A. It’s given for a month so I’m sure the doctor must have suggested you once in a week and they must have noticed a high amount of deficiency which is why this amount has been suggested and if it is suggested by then there is no problem you can go ahead with it
