Q.

hi, my paed has prescribed Alex syrup for my 2.5yr old kids. however I read that it is not recommended for kids less than 12 yrs. I rechecked with my paed, who said to give Alex syrup and not Alex junior. can someone clarify which one should i give?

A. it's fine can give syp Alex 2.5ml twice daily it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor . take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or any lab / radiological investigations.
