Hi my one and half month newborn is not taking breast milk on alternate days she prefers sleeping I am feeding on demand For example she takes proper feeding yesterday but today she prefers sleeping and doesn’t ask for feeding even if I wake her up she sleeps while feeding This is not one day story every alternate days she does this

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. if the baby is passing urine adequately at least eight times per day no need to worry nfor further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given
