Q.

Hi...my nephew is 3 months old and his first tooth erupted...He has blood calcium levels of 10.8 mg/dl... Is high calcium reason for early teething?Did not find any such reference from any websites...

A. There have been instances where a few babies are born with teeth. It is advisable to consult a dentist if you are in doubt because even if there are high calcium levels the teeth may not erupt.Write Your Answer Here

A. teething can start any time between the age of 3 months to 18 months. there is nothing to worry about. start brushing your babies teeth using a silicone finger brush.
