Q.

hi my daughter used to cough frequently and we started giving salbutamol inhaler ip 100 mcg along with budecort budesonide inhaler last from one year. now whenever she coughs she is treated by this medicine. my concern, is that it is safe for a child of 6 years since it is a steroid as far as my knowledge. please suggest

A. it is very safe in such cough an cold please continue it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor . take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or any lab / radiological investigations.
