Q.

Hi,my daughter is now 1 year old she is suffering from allergic cold often in this winter season and tryed giving formula milk instead of normal cows milk now she is feeling somewhat better.Is giving cows milk other than formula milk will cause cold and sputum in baby?

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose ancd nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestagnt medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
