Q.

Hi my daughter is having fever from yesterday evening and I gave her calpol 120 mg 6ml 4 Times n still her fever is nt cumng dwn she's vry cranky n cryng alot n her body is burning cn u recommend another medicine

A. For FEVER as well as PAIN kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. Also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give Paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after ymedical consultation

A. Hi parent please consult with your pediatrician about this matter because physical examination of child is important for proper diagnosis and treatment please keep your child well hydrated with more liquid diet it is very helpful
