Q.

Hi my daughter is having fever 99 to 101 frm last 8 9 days and the fever is coming between 9pm to 9 am and 3 days before she is also complaint abt stomach ache

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic ahucid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. It Probably due to some infection in the stomach you have to get a check the fever should not be lasting for more than 72 hours you are saying it has been there for 8 to 9 days it’s not a healthy sign kindly consult your paediatrician for further checkup
