Q.

Hi. My daughter is 6 weeks old. Is their any sign to understand whether my baby has been gaining weight on a regular basis? She is an exclusively bm child. I visit to my child specialist every month. But I want to monitor whether she has been getting enough breast milk or not.

A. if baby pee count is around 6-8times and the baby is sleeping well then the baby is getting sufficient milk.. ideally baby will gain around 500-700g per month and should double the birth weight around 4-6months and three times the birth weight at completion of one year.. exclusively breast feeding is recommended for six months..
