Q.

hi....My daughter is 4.5 months old...She has suddenly stopped drinking formula milk or cow milk....she is demanding only breast milk...but I don't have sufficient breast milk.....can I increase milk supply at this stage? I have heard people saying that it is impossible to boost milk supply at this stage, is it true? kindly suggest

A. Hello good afternoon !! Breast feed your baby,the more baby latches the more milk produces. Have milk and diary products,rusk, roasted bread, Papaya,chikoo, bottle gourd, Poppy seeds, garlic,kheema. Garlic milk - Boil milk with crushed garlic cloves for 15 minutes strain milk add sugar and have it to lactate this will improve milk supply within short time. Feed formula milk only if you have insufficient milk supply. Cow/buffalo/packet milk are suggested from one+ year onwards because below one year babies can't digest animals milk.
