A. Sir, my daughter is taking my feed exclusively (only on breastfeed) and we have started giving her Neopeptine drops as prescribed by doctor. Also, we are recommended by doctor to give her 1 teaspoon dabur honey, shall we go for the same?

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 mjoonths . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preptarations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. Constipation is completely normal and common and this age a child can go without pooping for 7 to 10 days also and that’s very normal if the child is taking all the feeds properly and the urine for the child is proper
