Q.

Hi, my daughter is 3 years 9months old. She has recently started going to school. She is developing a habit to touch heself / stimulate herself with her hands or using an object like the edge of a table / bench. we noticed at home and tried to council her. the same issue has been noticed by her school. I have tried talking and explaining to her. she stops it for some days and resumes again at school. Could you please help me understand how to explain her not to do this, esp in public places. please guide me on this.

A. Maybe your child is having some problem in that area have you consulted a doctor and now you know have you gotten a check with the doctor on a personal level because maybe there is an issue that the child is having so kindly get a check with the doctor and if every thing is normally at the habit does not change then you should consult a child psychologist I will help you walk through this pathWrite Your Answer Here
