hi my daughter is 3 years 7 months old she frequently gets cold and cough, she coughs alot along with chest congestion that we have to give her nebulizer. please suggest a good immunity tonic so that my daughter's immunity gets strong. I would appreciate if you give some advice!

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the gttype of cough.
if fever is there paracevtamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
