Q.

Hi, my daughter is 25 days old. I'm not able to give sufficient breast milk since I can hardly pump upto 50 ml milk. Currently relying on formula milk (Similac plus). Should I continue to give the formula milk along with breast milk or should I start giving her cow's milk. Please suggest

A. first of all meet your doctor and get the weight of the child assessment done. if the weight gain of the child is within normal limits as well as the urine output is normal then do not worry about the feeding pattern, the sleeping pattern and the crying pattern of the child. your doctor is the best person to tell you whether any outside milk is required or not until thatd time kindly continue only breastfeeding. continue exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months of age of the child. small all children take demand feeding that is when they feel hungryx they will take feeding. .
