Q.

hi my daughter is 19 months old. she is always licking the paint off the wall, showed to doctor and said there is no deficiency. What should I do

A. Hello, It is sounds like a 'Pica'. Pica is an eating disorder that is quite common among young ones..The disorder is defined as persistent and compulsive cravings to eat nonfood items....It is due to calcium or iron deficiency in babies... please do check with your paedritician and management accordingly.

A. hi it might be pica or child might do it to get attention of parents. so , please offer homemade healthy and well Blanaced diet. keep your child well hydrated give your time to your child. play different games, sing rhymes with your child. try to distract your child by giving toys or activities. but please don't Scold or yell at your child for this.
