Q.

Hi My daughter is 19 months. Her weight gain is very slow. Her birth weight is 1 Kg. She was preterm IUGR born at 32 weeks. She was 7.1 Kg at 12 months and 8.8 Kg at 19 months. Her height is 76 cms. Please advise on her weight and height curve. She is a picky eater, What should I offer her daily for weight gain.

A. since your child is a picky eater which is why your child is also not gaining weight so I would recommend you to go ahead with giving more vegetarian or non-vegetarian protein to their child start with iron multivitamin supplement as well for the child
