Hi, My daughter is 10 months old..we haven't introduced pacifier till date but lately we can see her on finger is always in her mouth (may be cz she is teething). we have teethers but she doesn't hold them for long, mostly tries to put anything on surface in her mouth...can we introduce pacifier Now??

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. baby is 10 months old it is normal for a baby to suck on fingers as it is a sign of soothing do not worry about just you can give pacifiers to baby asteething makes baby cranky due to pain swelling and gum irritation. Can give a silicon or wooden teether or pacifier for ease irritation. clean and massage baby s gums by fingers.
give vit d 3 vita must d 3 or KLM D 3 or D SOL 800 I U 0. 5 ml or 400 I U 1 ml daily till 1 year for strong bones and teeth
