A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to shiome chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .

A. As of now, you can keep a little bit of ice cube into a hanky on to the affected area. This is going to be very much helpful along with that. Also I’d like to tell you a lot of times a child gets an internal injury which we do not realise soil suggest you to get a check with an ENT doctor as well.
