Q.

hi, my daughter is 1 month old and she is not gaining weight. when she was born, she was around 3.9kgs now she has put down weights and she is around 3.5kgs..

A. In Initial month due to jaundice and all the child can lose up to 500 g of weight as well that’s perfectly fine so if your child gains about a KG or a minimum of half KG every month then that would be an ideal weight and still if you feel that your child is not gaining weight then you should consult a lactation specialist
