Q.

Hi, My child is now 1 month 19 days old, and his 6th week vaccination is due. Can we delay this for 10-12 days from the due date.

A. Thank you Doc for your response. We are out of station, so will be back in 10-12 days and will immediately vaccinate our baby.. Will keep in our mind your words for future reference 🙂

A. there should not be a problem if you postpone it for maximum one month but after that it is not advisable because the child become susceptible to the vaccine preventable disease. try to get a vaccination as early as possible for first one year to 2 year of age.c except one or two vaccines almost all vaccine can be given at any age and the advantage of the vaccine starts when it is given cto the child. meet your doctor who will tell you which vaccines can be given at this age as well as whether any booster dosage is required or not
