Dr Lavina SharmaMom of a 4 yr 10 m old child4 years agoA. Ideally baby's weight should double the birth weight by 6 months of age. So, weight is on the lower side but that alone cannot be taken as the only parameter for growth. Check for baby's height, activity level, if no major health problems, is feeding well, motion and urine count is okay , then there isn't any sign of worry. Keep feeding baby well and home cooked foods with added ghee should help.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months and triples by one year completion. Please consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Follow your doctor’s instructions diligently. Continue feeding your baby well on demand,
