Hi, My child is 5 months old...she has an inguinal hernia..since birth...but it's disappeared after 6 weeks or so...does she still need to under go a hernia repair ?

If it has been settled already then there is no need to do any other procedure but just to have a proper clarity and satisfaction I think it would be good for you to get it checked with your doctor your doctors are going to give you clarity on the situation that is there
