hi, my bahy's left eye is sometimes watery and eye discharge is coming. is this a serious issue.. do we need to consult a doctor

A. hi usually it is normal among young babies to have watery eyes as they don't have fully developed tear ducts. just give gentle massage from inner sides of eyes to tip of nose. clean your child eyes with fresh tap water. Maintain good hygiene. but if there is yellowish,green or white discharge ,pain , redness , itching etc then please consult your pediatrician.
