hi my baby was delivered on March 13th. she had her birthweight as 2.850. yesterday she completed 77 days. so when checked her weight was 5.510 kg. is the weight is normal? I am worried

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. very good weight gain ok. generally the birth will double by 5 months of age. There can be lot of individual variation in the problem sometimes there is need to do physical examination and if required for investigations also to come to the diagnosis and give appropriate advice ok

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. hello the baby is gaining a minimum of 600 gram to 800 gram per month it is a good weight gain and absolutely nothing to worry and not a problem and just in the case the BM is not sufficient you can give infant formula milk using a bpa free bottle like babyhug
