Q.

Hi, my baby s 3 months old. I don't have sufficient breast milk so am giving similac (formula) but still she s 4.5 kg not that much development so can I give cerelac to her???

A. no not now first of all meet your doctor and get the weight of the child assessment done. if the weight gain of the child is within normal limits as well as the urine output is normal then do not worry about the feeding pattern, the sleeping pattern and the crying pattern of the child. your doctor is the best person to tell you whether any outside milk is required or not until that time kindly continue only breastfeeding. continue exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months of age of the child

A. thank you for reaching out to us for this question please note that semisolids should be start Uni after baby complete 6 months the first 6 months are exclusively for mothers milk or formula milk only please make sure that if you need to change the brand of the formula milk it should be done under the guidance of your pediatrician and he will let you know which is the best brand for your baby
