Q.

Hi, my baby is unable to latch milk , he is not showing interest in breastfeeding, he is habituated to bottle feeding, what do I do, please help!

A. Very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper. If improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk Meet lactational counsellorr who will guide regarding this. See videos on you tube for breastfeeding position attachment. Take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk. Take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

A. Hello dear parent! Few babies have problem in latching. It is advisable to consult a lactation expert for advice. Clarify all your concerns regarding this and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
