HI, my baby is two months old.He is feeding on formula and on breastfeeding for first 40mins .he is passing green stool (army green) since a week. so we have done stool routine test for him. Report says pus cells range is 3-5 hod. is this reference range normal for two months baby? and is green stool normal for babies? can you please suggest. thank you.

A. Hello ma’am Yes it is in between the normal range apart from that it is clearly mention on the report that what is the amount and what is the reference range. And when you are feeding formula green colour motion is normal so don’t worry about it if you do not see any discomfort to your child like while passing it or blood or mucus stickiness or foul smell if you do not see any of these things and colour and consistency really doesn’t make a difference.
