Hi My baby is suffering from fever, running nose from 5 days. We are giving him syrup maxtra 3 ml thrice a day along with calpol 250 for fever as and when. after giving calpol fever goes down but comes again after 7-8 hours? He vomits 1-2 times a day as well. Appetite has come down. please advise

A. steam for nasal and paracetamol for fever. Cough and cold can be due to seasonal variation and maybe a sign of any viral infection so as a home remedies steam can be started and if the cough worsen then cough syrup like asthakind can be given but if there is any breathing difficulty then a physician should be consulted .
