My child is 2 year 7 months old. She is having runny nose and a little cough. I am giving her maxtra syrup around 3 3.5 ml thrice daily for 5 days but her nose is still a bit runny and little cough is still there.

A. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be sgome associatedhg factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful . Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
