Q.

hi, my baby is one month old. birth weight is 3.1 after an month her weight is 3.33 so doctor suggesting to give formula milk for alternative feed because she is underweight. I am concerned. about giving formula milk. what are the effect of under weight. is it like I have to give formula milk. her urine output is more than 6 wet diaper.

A. Hello ma’am Maybe your child is not gaining weight which is why your doctor saying like this because it said that a child should get in about minimum 500 g to 1 KG every month your child is hardly gained any weight which is why a doctor must have advised you to go for formula feed start giving formula 2 to 3 feet per day there is no harm in it it’s completely safe to go for
