Q.
Hi..My baby is not passing stool for around 3 days..Then my parents are giving few drops of hing milk or ajwain milk post which she is passing stool..Also she is struggling to pass stool.. Is that practice okay? If not what can be done to pass stool regularly

DeepaliMom of a 2 yr 1 m old boy2 years agoA. it is common for babies to not pass stool even upto 10 days. please don't give anything other than breast milk or formula milk. use tummy roll on or colic aid drops. gently massage your baby's tummy and while the baby is struggling to pass stool, help your baby by moving his/ her legs as if cycling. this will help in bowel movements.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 4 m old girl2 years agoA. hi no please don't do this baby is too young and it is normal for such young babies to not pass stool Upto 7 days so nothing to worry about it much please provide more and more breastfeeds give gentle massage with Babyhug coconut oil daily which definitely help to regularise bowlmovements
