A. Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time. It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also. The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semi solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the smell of the stool Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal do not worry if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid

A. hi.. Exclusively bf babies may poop 10 times in 1 day, or once in 10 days - both are normal. That's cos they are not taking anything solid in their diet. As long as daily pee count is above 6-7 and baby is not uncomfortable, please don't worry about poop frequency. If it helps, share my experience. My daughter used to poop once a week, I would never stress about cleaning poop 😂 But once she started solids, post 6m, she made us clean 4-5 times in a day 😅
